Lake Howell

Here is the lake that my apartment is on. It is a decent-sized lake tucked away amidst the city. You can't really see it from any major roads.

The Apartments

Here is a shot of the apartments. Not the one I live in, but they look the same.

It's Settled

I got to get me a boat. No man worth his salt can live by a lake without a boat. The kid skiing was doing some jumps, which I was going to take a shot of, but he wiped out before I could.

Flying High

I I snapped this shot of some sort of bird of prey. Right before I took this picture, one of them dive bombed a pretty good size fish. So far the fish are turning out to be far more effective fishers than I.

Take a stroll

Some pretty good little walking paths wind through the apartments. One thing I like about these apartments is they are quite well shaded by trees.

You A-Sceard

If you have a phobia of lizards, well, you might have some issues with this part of the world. They are everywhere. At least, these are the tiny kind. I hear south of here they have the big Nile monitor lizards. Those make meals out of your pets.

Bird In The Pond

Here is a shot I took of bird fishing in the pond right outside my new apartment. I went fishing in that pond yesterday. I saw the bird catch one fish, so I know he caught one more fish than I did. Although, I did catch four sticks. Sticks can put up a fight, but they ain't very good eating. Double click the image to see a much larger shot. I'll take more shots of my new surroundings so0n.

She's Got Legs

Here is a shot from my doorway in my old apartment during the days of the millipede. While the war waged on with the bugs I would find up to 50 of the critters at my door every morning.
